The Herend manufactory owes its fame to the particular beauty and uniqueness of its many hand-decorated services. The masters are always skilful in renewing the motifs of the services consisting of thousands of pieces and based on centuries-old craft traditions and adapting them to the expectations of new customers.

The decoration is inspired by 16th century Japanese kakemono porcelain motifs. The composition of stylised flowers from the Far East around tiny rosettes characterises the ornamental motif. The lively design owes its name to one of its worshippers, Baron Waldstein, who commissioned this Herend service in 1842 with the family crest and the motto: 'per laborem et dolorem ad honorem.

Decoration available in six colours with pure gold finish.
