The ‘Striche verde e ordo’ design was originally created for an Italian Grand Hotel, designed by Geminiano Cozzi himself in 1770 and a source of inspiration for all the porcelain manufacturers of the time.
The design is simple, almost ‘abstract’ – in the narrowest sense of the term, as a pursuit of pure form through colours and geometric shapes – but the result is truly elegant: radial orange stripes are framed by a delicate gold brushstroke, which lends an incredible touch of sophistication.
Within the vast range of Geminiano Cozzi Venezia 1765, this original design is available in a wide variety of colours and combinations, which remain highly contemporary to this day and have served as a source of inspiration for almost all porcelain manufacturers, both Italian and foreign, that emerged in the centuries that followed.
