Zeus Fire is a forged cutlery collection made of 18/10 stainless steel with a sandblasted and burnished finish.

Zeus Fire is forged cutlery whose hammered and burnished handles evoke the ancient ritual of blacksmiths' handwork: in their forges, they shaped the glowing iron with hammer blows until they masterfully crafted unique pieces. The wavy, irregular surfaces of the handle recall the relentless beat of hammers, as do the knife blades with their broken profile and unmistakable silhouette. A squared design and attention to function distinguish this collection of sandblasted and burnished cutlery inspired by modern urban spaces.

As this is a natural treatment, the burnished colour may vary over time.

Made in Italy

The sandblasted finish, characterized by low roughness, is obtained by microbead blasting: a cold surface treatment of the steel with ceramic microbeads propelled under pressure. The object thus acquires a distinctive aesthetic appeal, because the surface diffuses the reflected light.

Burnishing is achieved through a high-temperature heat treatment carried out in a chamber furnace. Natural hot oxidation gives the metal surface its characteristic burnished color. The craftsmanship gives the cutlery a shaded, non-uniform coloration. Any differences in color, unevenness and streaks are to be considered distinctive features that add value, making each item a unique piece!

Suitable for dishwasher use

18/10 AISI 304 steel, while the knives are made of AISI 420, a hardened martensitic steel that keeps the blade sharp over time.
