Refund policy
Right of withdrawal
If you buy as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract without penalty and without giving any reason within 14 days of the day on which you, or a person indicated by you other than the courier, receive the products. If an order arrives in several shipments, the 14 days run from the delivery of the last product.
How to exercise it
Simply inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, within the 14 days, in one of the following ways:
- with the Withdraw from contract here function at the bottom of every page of the site: no account is needed, just your name, email and order number, and you immediately receive an email confirmation;
- by email to info@dreamingmyhome.it or by PEC (certified email) to michele.michielotto@legalmail.it;
- by post to Dreaming my Home, Vicolo Terziario 6, 46100 Mantova.
You may, if you wish, use the model form at the bottom of this page, but it is not obligatory.
Returning the products
After receiving your communication, we will send you the return instructions. You must send the products to Dreaming my Home, Vicolo Terziario 6, 46100 Mantova, within 14 days of communicating your withdrawal. The cost of the return shipment is borne by you. We do not accept cash-on-delivery shipments.
Please pack the products carefully, preferably in their original packaging, because they travel at your risk until they reach our warehouse. You are only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Refund
We will refund all payments received for the returned products, including the standard delivery costs of the original order, without deducting any handling fees, within 14 days of the day on which we received your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products, or proof that you have sent them back. If you chose a type of delivery more expensive than the standard one, we will only refund the cost of the standard delivery.
The refund will be made using the same means of payment used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed, and at no cost to you.
Exclusions
As provided for by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code (Codice del Consumo, Legislative Decree 206/2005), the right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, nor to sealed products which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery. Nor does it apply to those who buy for purposes related to their trade, business or profession.
Defective or damaged products
If a product arrives damaged or does not conform to what you ordered, write to us at info@dreamingmyhome.it with a few photos: we will replace it, repair it or refund you, and the shipping costs are borne by us. The legal guarantee of conformity described in the terms of sale applies.
