Mother panda

Porcelain sculpture depicting a tender scene whose protagonists are a mother panda and her cub.

Many of the pieces in the Heritage collection, such as Mother Panda, have the extraordinary ability to stir emotions. This scene of a mother panda with her cub touches deep chords. It is made of matt porcelain, on which one can appreciate the engraving work done to create the fur of these bears. Only black and white were used in the decoration, and the shiny touch of the eyes stands out in particular.

This approach emphasises the eyes and increases the expressive capacity of the animals' faces. Mother Panda is a creation of impeccable sculptural execution. A work that is striking and moving.

Designed and handcrafted in Spain by Lladrò artists who have been turning porcelain into works of art for more than 60 years. A unique artisanal process that makes a piece of porcelain a work of art.
