Rodolfo Dordoni, 1996

Once upon a time, in the Furnace, there were three works by Rodolfo Dordoni. Regal in their glass robes, they have travelled the world.

The noble family par excellence of glass has reigned magnanimously at Venini since 1996.

His Majesty, his Queen and the heir to the throne of the Furnace.

Technical details

Prince: is the smallest, and all eyes are already on him. One day the whole kingdom will be his; in the meantime he wears his luxurious mantle, complete with the ever-present crown.

Queen:the refined wife of the sovereign, always the most elegant. Her feminine curves are draped in a satin mantle reminiscent of gold, completed by the crown on her head.

King:Wearing the crown is difficult, but he does it to perfection. Tall and proud, he rules his empire with kindness and the elegance of his sinuous forms. He wears a satin mantle and an imposing crown with a metallic effect.

Technique: opaline glass with hot-applied metal-effect decoration and sandblasting
