Vortex table centrepiece

Designer Ross Lovegrove

Vortex represents a real challenge to porcelain production, pushing it to the limits of what is possible. Large decorative pieces that would normally be made of several parts glued together form a single element moulded in biscuit and then polished by hand, capturing the rotational force of its energy.

A work of great ingenuity and complexity.
