PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition: a technology used to color steel by depositing very thin metal films. The process takes place inside vacuum chambers and involves the evaporation and subsequent condensation of metals onto the cutlery. Besides embellishing the cutlery with a range of beautiful color shades, this treatment makes it more resistant to wear and scratches, and it is a fully sustainable coating suitable for use in the food sector.
