Striche green and gold salad bowl

In use around 1770, the decoration of the Striche verdi ed oro line by Geminiano Cozzi Venezia 1765 is simple, almost abstract, in the strictest sense of a search for pure form through colours and geometric shapes.

The ornamentation of green radial stripes, edged with a fine stroke of gold, documents the choices made by the painters of the time regarding colour and its combinations or juxtapositions.

In the vast range of Geminiano Cozzi Venezia 1765, this original decoration comes in many colours and combinations, still very modern and a source of inspiration for almost all the porcelain factories, both Italian and foreign, that arose in the following centuries.
