Monofiore 100.36

Venini, 2016

It changed tradition in 1970 and changed itself again in 2016.

The substance remains: it looks soft, yet it is glass.

The optical illusion of Venini's Monofiori lies in its name: Balloton, the unique technique that recreates the matelassé effect on the surface.

The piece is handcrafted, blown in the characteristic metal mould and finished at the slender neck with a hot-applied coloured thread that varies in colour.
