Description
The Herend manufactory owes its fame to the special beauty and uniqueness of its many hand-decorated services. Its masters are always skilled at renewing the patterns of services comprising thousands of pieces and rooted in centuries-old craft traditions, and at adapting them to the expectations of new customers.
The pattern, which originated around the second half of the 19th century, was created by Fischer Mór. Pairs of birds with colourful plumage perch on branches, surrounded by butterflies and small insects. The pattern was named after the family of Baron Rothschild, who in the late 1860s became its promoter. It refers to the necklace placed on a branch, which Baroness Rothschild believed lost but which was found in the garden.
Pattern available in several variants, all finished with a pure gold line.
