Description
The Herend manufactory owes its fame to the exceptional beauty and uniqueness of its many hand-painted services. Its masters have always been skilled at renewing the patterns of services made up of thousands of pieces, rooted in centuries-old craft traditions, and at adapting them to the expectations of new customers.
The pattern, which emerged in the second half of the 19th century, was created by Fischer Mór. Pairs of brightly feathered birds perch on branches, surrounded by butterflies and small insects. The pattern is named after the family of Baron Rothschild, who in the late 1860s became its patron. It refers to a necklace hanging on a branch, which Baroness Rothschild believed lost but which was found in the garden.
Pattern available in several variants, all finished with a fine pure gold band.
