Mare and foal

A porcelain rendering of a tender scene featuring a mare with her foal.

The mare and foal are rendered with absolute sculptural perfection. A work in which the exclusive use of matt black porcelain highlights the anatomy, musculature and muzzle. Moving in the tenderness that the scene exudes, this creation is a tribute to the greatness and beauty of the animal world.

Designed and handmade in Spain by Lladrò artists who have been transforming porcelain into works of art for more than 60 years. A unique artisanal process that makes a piece of porcelain a work of art.
