Kokeshi - cordless table lamp

Traditional Japanese dolls with simple shapes are represented in this series of cordless lamps.

Originally from the Tohoku region in the north of the Land of the Rising Sun, these dolls swap wood for porcelain and become functional and decorative lights. They are made of glossy porcelain decorated with a combination of pastel shades, coloured paints and bright gold details. The tulip-shaped lampshade is made of translucent matt white porcelain and features a metal sensor engraved with the brand's flower logo, to adjust the light intensity.
