Grogu

Grogu is a likeable character who quickly won the hearts of countless Star Wars fans from the moment he first appeared in The Mandalorian series.

In this creation, handcrafted in porcelain, the sculptural mastery is striking for the incredible resemblance to the character and for the various decorative techniques employed. The face, ears and hands have been decorated with liquid colours, perfect for bringing out all the details worked into the skin, such as the small wrinkles between the eyebrows or on the chin, or the peculiar shape of the ears. The main colours used are mother-of-pearl shades for the cheeks, a delicate stone grey and pink. For the clothing, a matt camel colour was combined with an off-white for the collar and sleeves, applied with a technique that increases the ‘depth’ effect of the fabric.

Then there are Grogu's eyes, the only details to which a gloss finish was applied, to give intensity and liveliness to his gaze.
