Description
The Herend manufactory owes its fame to the special beauty and uniqueness of its many hand-decorated services. Its masters are always skilled at renewing the patterns of services comprising thousands of pieces and rooted in centuries-old craft traditions, and at adapting them to the expectations of new customers.
The pattern is inspired by the animals and birds of field and forest that appear among green leaves and fronds, alongside mushrooms and the foliage of woodland trees. Admiring this pattern is like a walk in the countryside for a naturalist, and it lets you lay an elegant table that reflects and symbolises that passion.
The pattern is a celebration of the wildlife of the forests of Hungary and Europe; its motifs are the heads of deer, fox, wild boar and mouflon, along with pheasants, capercaillie and partridges. The plate is finished with a green border and the rim is decorated with leaves, branches, woodland flowers and mushrooms.
First made in the '60sit has always continued to prove popular with hunters and forest lovers. As many as 14 decors are available.
